In this role, the Sr. Rich Media / Social Media Developer will have advanced Flash skills to turn our designs into enterprise-scale Rich Media animations, applications and websites for our Fortune 1000 customers including HP, Sony,  JPMorgan Chase, Ferrari, Netgear, Century 21 -- just to name a few.  In addition to Rich Media Development, the ideal candidate will have good working experience for developing and working within common Social Media environments such as Facebook (understanding the constraints of development within various social communicates, familiar with the Facebook API and Facebook Connect capabilities).

In this new role you will work closely with Project Managers, Development team, and Creative team to create reusable Flash components

• Design and Implement functional prototypes
• Conceptualize, develop and build Flash applications that meet company and client expectations and overall project goals
• Join the strategic brainstorming process of any Rich Media and / or Social Media opportunity
• Communicate ideas with various project development team members to solicit feedback and ensure support
• Contribute to delegation and management of additional Rich Media and Social Media development resources as needed.

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

• 4 year degree - preferably in Computer Science or Design
• Proven expertise in Action Script 3.0 and Flash on PC or Mac
• Proven experience with reverse engineering complex applications and data driven flash development
• Experience with integrating metrics tracking components into applications 
• Solid experience with all or combination of the following: HTML, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, prototype, and scriptaculous
• Understanding of object oriented principles
• Experience working with a graphic designer(s) to reproduce a design within the Flash CS4 application
• Provide a portfolio including examples of advance flash skills
• Proven ability to hit deadlines and work under tight timelines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Basic Photoshop skills
